Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the dress rental services provided by Hype Hire ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our") and constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "You," or "Your") and the Company. By using our dress rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Rental Agreement
a. By renting a dress from us, you agree to be bound by the terms of this rental agreement.
b. Items have a 4-day rental period. The rental period begins on the date specified during the booking and ends on the date the dress is returned to us.
2. Booking and Reservation
a. To book a dress or try on appointment, you can choose one of the following methods:
i. Booking through our website: You must fill out the booking application on our website and provide accurate and complete information. Follow the steps on our website to complete the booking process.
ii. Booking through Instagram: You may also initiate a booking by sending us a direct message (DM) through our official Instagram account (@Hype_Hire). Please provide us with the necessary information and follow the instructions provided through Instagram to complete the booking process.
b. Dress availability for a try on appointment is subject to change. We will make our best efforts to fulfill your reservation, but we do not guarantee the availability of any specific dress for a try on.
c. Try-On Fee: A non-refundable $5 try-on fee is required for customers who wish to try on a dress before booking. This fee is redeemable towards the rental fee if you choose to book the dress after trying it on.
3. Rental Fee and Payment
a. To secure a booking, a minimum deposit of $20 (or as otherwise specified on our website) must be paid at the time of booking. The deposit will be applied toward the total rental fee.
b. The remaining balance of the rental fee, as well as any applicable taxes and shipping fees, must be paid in full at the time of pick up.
c. Payment can be made using various payment methods as indicated on our website.
d. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
4. Dress Pickup and Return
a. You are responsible for picking up the dress on the specified date and returning it on or before the agreed-upon return date.
b. Late returns may incur additional fees.
c. You must return the dress in the same condition as received, with no damage, stains, or alterations. Cleaning or repair fees may apply if the dress is returned in poor condition.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
a. Cancellation Policy: Hype Hire does not offer refunds for cancellations. Cancellations made within 14 days of the booking date are not eligible for a refund.
b. Store Credit: In certain cases, Hype Hire may, at its discretion, offer store credit as an alternative to a refund. Store credit can be used towards future dress rentals within a year of the original booking date.
6. Dress Care and Use
a. You agree to take proper care of the dress during the rental period and follow any care instructions provided by us.
b. Do not attempt to clean the dress yourself. We have a specific cleaning process in place to ensure that dresses are properly maintained and cleaned between rentals. If you have any concerns about the cleanliness of the dress, please contact us, and we will address them promptly. Cleaning costs are included in the rental price.
c. You must not make any alterations or modifications to the dress without our prior written consent.
7. Damage or Loss
a. You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the dress during the rental period.
b. If the dress is damaged beyond repair or lost, you will be charged the full retail value of the dress as it will need to be replaced. However, you can keep the damaged dress if you wish.
8. Keeping a Completely Damaged Dress
a. In the event that a dress is completely damaged and you have paid the full retail price for the dress as outlined in Section 7, you have the option to keep the damaged dress. The dress will be considered your property, and no further obligations or responsibilities regarding the damaged dress will be borne by Hype Hire.
9. Liability
a. The Company shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the use of our dresses.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
a. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
